After they make a decision, they may discuss in groups to find out the information about the city they have chosen and take it down.(Write the follo

6、wing on the blackboard. )Information about the four cities:Paris: capital, largest, the River Seine, is visited, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, restaurants, cafs, theatres, artists and writers. . .Barcelona: second largest, on the northeast coast, the Church of the Sagrada Familia, Antonio Gaudi. . .

7、Florence: famous because of Renaissance, greatest painters, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, is visited by, the Uffizi Palace. . .Athens: the capital, birthplace of western civilization, Parthenon, best writers works. . .They may collect the information about the city they have chosen and take it

8、 down briefly. This step can be done like this: All the members try to come up with as many questions about the city as possible. Therefore, the information is collected when they have answered the questions.Option Two1. Give students a few minutes to revise the reading passage on Page 2. And then d

13、her tourist attractions?4. What about other special features?2. Then they may work in pairs to answer the questions raised. Its better to write complete sentences.3. Next students work individually to write complete sentences using the information they have collected beforehand. After that, they may

14、 organize the sentences into a complete extra paragraph about the city. If the class is good enough, they may write a complete passage.4.
