1、 中考英语 Junior Middle School English Writing英语论文 人教新目标版Abstract According to the new course principles, the teachers should strengthen students four kinds of language abilities ( listenning, speaking, reading and writing) during the teaching and weaken phrase and grammar teaching at the same time. The
2、 students writing norms also influence the students writing scores directly. After a long-term teaching , I found that developing the students writing ability is a difficult task .It is hypothesized that students low scores in writing can be raised by standardizing their writing and pushing them to
3、master the common phrases and sentence structures. This hypothesis is verified by a three-week classroom teaching.1、IntroductionWe all know that classroom English learning is one of the most important methods in junior middle school English education. Therefore, the teachers should stimulate student
4、s interest, so that they can learn better. Students English writing is a difficult task for students, as well as the difficulty of teachers. There are many different ways to help them to improve writing skills. Phrase teaching is one important methold, and sentence structure teaching is another impo
5、rtant method. After I taught them for two months, I found that the study atmosphere of English wasnt good. When the students faced writing, they felt helpless and anxiety. Quite a number of students remained blanks in practical exercises. So I decided to use phrases and sentence structures to help t
6、hem to improve their writing ability.2、Problem AnalysisTeaching which appeals to learners needs can facilitate learning .It is necessary to investigate why the students were showing less and less interest, and devoting less and less effort in English writing. So interviews were held and questionnair
7、es were issued. It is found that:2.1、Not Standardized WritingWhile writing in English, students often write sentences before knowing how to write each of the sentences. They always want to write one sentence simply. So there are many smeared words or phrases. They didnt develop the habit of writing
8、preliminary drafts.2.2、Poor Language SkillsStudents in the writing process are facing some serious problems. They cant usually express their ideas using accurate phrases or sentences. In students works, I often see spelling errors, such as frist (should be written as first), Graden (should be writte
9、n as Garden), farther (should be written as father), intresting (should be written as interesting), befor (should be written as before), grate (should be written as great). And they always use a large number of false phrases, such as Thank for ( should be written as Thanks for ), on weekend (should
10、be written as on weekends), want do sth. (should be written as want to do sth.), on sofa (should be written as on the sofa). That is to say, the students cant use some important phrases correctly.The reason for such problems is that the students havent mastered the standard language.2.3、Incorrect Se
11、ntence StructuresIn English writing, many students often write some incomplete sentences. They usually make some mistakes,such as “I at home”, “He is like to play soccer”, “I father is a doctor”, “ I very much like Jackie Chan”. The reason of making such wrong sentences is that students cant underst
12、and English sentence structure correctly. They do not know the differences between English and Chinese. They always translate Chinese words into English one by one.Therefore,it is very important for students to grasp complete sentence structures. 3、Possible Solutions Taking the above factors into co
13、nsideration. the following solutions were proposed: a. Standardize students writing, so that students cultivate good habits of writing.b.Enhance students English writing skills by reciting, speaking and reading frequently used phrases .c. Guide students to analyze sentence structures.4、Project Objec
14、tive This project is aimed to improve the students English writing.5、Project HypothesesConsidering the above factors of the students,it is effective to improve students writing ability by standardizing students writing and helping them to grasp phrases and sentence structures. For junior secondary s
15、tudents, studying and summing abilities are very poor. Therefore, the correct guidance is particularly important to them. Teachers may ask them to write their standard words and sentences, help them to obtain important phrase gradually, and guide them in the text of the sentence structure. Those way
16、s above are very effectively.6、Project Rationale Writing is a kind of habit. As junior middle school teachers ,we have responsibility to develop students writing skills.
