2、ation systems, three emergencies, three responses, three cases.What happens to education when an emergency occurs?What policies exist to guide official, humanitarian and community education preparedness, response and recovery actions?What practices and resources have been developed to support educat

3、ion in emergencies?Who and what are the key players, structures and institutions re education in emergencies and what roles do and should they play?This course will review the policies, practices, players and issues pertaining to education in emergencies work. The focus of sessions will be tailored

4、to participant interests and questions. We will engage in an emergency response scenario to explore the issues and dynamics of an emergency education situation. We will review case studies to analyze approaches, strategies and methods used. We will listen to the voices of students and teachers who h

5、ave lived through emergency situations to understand the lived experience and the learning challenges faced. We will examine the international education field and explore the aids and constraints to education work in emergency situations that characterize the field. We will identify opportunities, b
