1、初中英语语法名词名词是表示人、事物、地点或抽象概念的名称的词，它是中考考查的重要词汇之一。考查名词的题型很多，有单项选择、完成句子、单句改错、词形转换、用所给词的适当形式填空等等。其中可数名词和名词所有格是中考命题的重点。名词所有格：一、名词所有格:表示人或事物的所属关系，意为“的”，在句中作定语，名词所有格有s和of两种形式，但各自表示的含义不同。（一）、s所有格表示有生命的名词与其后面名词的所有关系，名词所有格同形容词性物主代词一样，都表示所有。其构成方式如下：一般情况加s，词尾有s只加;两人共有，后者加s；各有各的，各加s.1、 表示 有生命的名词所有格，一般在名词后加“s”My sis
2、ters skirt.我妹妹的裙子。2、 如果名词是以“s”结尾，就直线加“”the students classroom.学生们的教室。3、 名词所有格后边的名词，如是两人共有，则在最后一个词的词尾加s；若为两人各自所有，则分别在各名词的词尾加s.Lily and Lucys bedroom.丽丽和露西的房间（一个房间两人共有）；Lilys and Lucys bedroom.丽丽的房间和露西的房间。4、 表示 时间、距离、国家、城镇等无生命的名词的所有格也可以使用名词+s或名词复数+s.two minutes walk 步行两分钟的路程todays newspaper 今天的报纸5、 有些
3、名词所有格表示住所、诊所、商店时，常去掉后面被修饰的词。to my uncles 到我叔叔家at the doctors 在诊所里(二)、of所有格1、常用来表示无生命的东西the name of her cat她的猫的名字 the door of the room 房间的门2、“of+名词（短语）的所有格形式有时也可以用于表示有生命事物的名词”the name of the boy=the boys name男孩的名字（三）有些无生命名词的所有关系用to 表示。如：the key to the door门的钥匙the answer to the question问题的答案the notes
4、to the text课文的注释the entrance to the building 大楼的入口处二、名词的复数：在英语中，名词分为可数名词和不可数名词，可数名词依其复数形式构成，又分为规则名词和不规则名词两种。不可数名词若要表示几个、几张、几种等，量词要用复数形式，名词却无变化。例如“two glasses of milk两杯牛奶名词变复数具体分为以下几种情况：（一）、可数名词的复数1、一般情况下，名词后直接加-s .例如：bookbooks apple apples 2、以s,x ,ch, sh结尾的词，加-es,例如：Busbuses watchwatches3、以辅音字母加y结尾的
5、名词，把y变成i再加-es，以元音字母加y结尾的名词直接加-s.例如：babybabies countrycounties playplays4、以o结尾的词，有的加-es ,有些则直接加-s.例如：tomatotomatoes potatopotatoes zoozoos radioradios5、以f/fe结尾的词，通常变f或fe为v,再加-es.例如：knifeknives （二）、不规则名词的复数manmen womanwomen childchildren mousemice footfeet toothteeth （三）、单复数同形的名词有些单词的单数形式和复数形式相同，即它们自身
6、既可以表示单数，又可以表示复数。常见的单词有：sheep ,deer , people , Chinese等。三、专有名词：属于特定的人、地、物、机构组织等的名称叫做专有名词。一般包括人名，如：Dr. Brown, Mr. Johnson;地名:如：Wall Street(华乐街)；时间名：如，Sunday, Christmas Day; 报刊名：如，The Times(泰晤日报)；单位团体名：如，The United Nations, Class Three, Grade One.专有名词在使用上注意以下两点：1、 第一个字母要大写。由两个以上单词组成的专有名词，除了冠词、介词和连词外，其他
7、每一个单词的第一个字母都要大写。2、 专有名词原则上没有复数，也不用冠词，但也有不少根据其含义或固有习惯而不根据原则处理的情况。如：_ September_10th is Teachers Day.四、不可数名词的数量：1、在汉语中有不少名词是可数的，但在英语中却是不可数的。以下情况通常看作不可数名词：（1）液体的东西，如：water, tea, coffee, milk, juice, ink等（2） 颗粒状的东西，如：sugar, salt, sand等（3）肉类的东西，如：meat, beef, pork, fish, chicken, mutton等。（4）抽象的东西，如：advice
8、, information, knowledge, news等。2、不可数名词不能直接用“数词+不可数名词”表示数量。它有自己的数量表达方式，即在其前使用单位量词。如：a piece of bread/news/paper一片面包/一条新闻/一张纸a cup of tea/coffee一杯茶/一杯咖啡a bowl of rice一碗米饭a glass of water一杯水a bottle of wine一瓶酒3、还可用much, little, a little, a large amount of等来修饰不可数名词，用many, few, a few, a large number of修
