To distinguish what good manners are and what bad manners are Step 1 Speaking. Practice different expressions. For example:” Forgive me, Im very sorry!” is quite forma

To help students understand that in what situations they should use formal expression and in what situations they should use informal expressions. In these exercise, Ss have to imagine themselves at a party. Everyone is very polite. They shou

8、ld talk to each other politely and make excuse when troubling others. Then ask Ss to work in groups and consider the following three situations.
