We found

8、 a greatly enhanced diffusively of chromium in the SMAT Fe at 350 ,which is about 300 to 400 lower than the conventional treatment temperature This enhance processing method demonstrates the technological significance of nanomaterials in improving traditional processing techniques and provides a new

9、 approach for selective surface reactions in solids. 12、esults in larger viscosity and lower foaming volume Viscosity of the foamed suspension is much higher than the original one at low rotational speed. Porosity When the temperature increased ,the porosity decreased At the same sintering temperature low solid loading sample has a higher porosity. Micro

13、structure The two samples exhibit almost a same pore morphology which is a typical result of direct foaming method . It can also be found that higher porosity sample contains more large pores than lower one. The result indicates that the porous mullite ceramics prepared by this method exhibit a simi

14、lar pore morphology and contain more large pores with higher porosity. 62.5wt%67.5wt% Conclusions The porosity of porous mullite ceramics can be varied from 73 to 86 vol% by adjusting solid loading of suspension and sintering temperature. Porous mullite ceramics comprised a hierarchical microstructu

15、re of large spherical pores and small pores on internal walls, and possessed a larger average pore size with higher porosity.
