Such as Main engine and Auxiliary machinery, ships safety equipment, anti-pollution equipment and emergency equipment. Anti-p
3、ollution equipments such as oily water separator, incinerator can prevent pollution to the sea. Emergency equipment such as emergency generator can supply the power when the ship is black-out. Ships safety equipment such as fire fighting equipment can be applied to avoid the disastrous fire at sea.2

The engine department is very important .They are responsible for the satisfactory operation of machin

I check and record all pressures and temperatures and fill in the engine room log.I must keep the maintenance of the main propulsion and its related systems, such as air starting system, fuel system, lub
10、rication system, and cooling system. Sometimes I cooperate with other engineers to locate troubles and take actions for repairing.5. Watch-keeping in the Engine Room (1) The engineer on duty works for 4 hours each watch. (2) He has to keep everything in good order. (3) He is going to hand over the s

When I am on duty, I arrange the routine repair and maintenance work, and make tour inspections in the engine room. Then I put down all the figures into the engine room log book.
