1、What Can You Do 本节课的教学内容为PEP Book5 中Unit 4 Part A的第一课时。能力目标:1、学生能正确运用字母组合拼读规律读出新词。2、作为一堂任务型语言课,本课时要求学生不仅掌握新词,还能用几句连贯的英语向别人介绍自己会做的事情。知识目标:1、能听懂会说短语:sweep the floor, clean the bedroom, cook the meals, water the flowers, empty the trash。2、能用句型“Im helpful. I can .”表达自己会做的事情并能在会话情境中运用。3、激发学生的自信心,让学生明白“Be

2、lieve yourself! I can do!相信自己,我能行!”情感目标:激发学生的自信心,通过观看“神州六号”的回归的图片让学生对祖国感到自豪。教学重点:1、能听懂会说短语sweep the floor, clean the bedroom, cook the meals, water the flowers, empty the trash。2、能用句型“Im helpful. I can .”表达自己会做的事情。教学难点:1、短语empty the trash的认读。2、将句型I can 在会话情境中灵活运用。板书设计: I can do!Boy Girlcook the meal

3、s sweep the floorwater the flowers clean the bedroom教学步骤:一、Warming-up and revision.(热身和复习)1. Lets do actions with the teacher quickly. (swim, run, jump, walk)活跃气氛并为句子的引入作铺垫。2.Teacher asks the Ss Can you swim/?.Let them answer with Yes, I can./No, I cant.3.Let Ss talk about what they can do. (swim, r

4、un, jump, walk, draw, sing, dance)(pair work)让学生讨论进行“词汇头脑风暴”的练习。Then Boys and Girls have a context. Please say I can .quickly.4.Teacher praise Ss with Youre helpful. and encourage them to use Im helpful. I can.教师不断用Youre helpful.来进行表扬,让学生对helpful不断在脑海加深印象,为后面学生自己说Im helpful.作好铺垫。二、Presentation(呈现新知)

Ask some groups to read the phrases.(教授短语中的新词是利用字母组合读音规则的方法。新词cook, meal的读音用book, tea/mea/meal来进行引导;empty和trash的读音用egg/bed, bag/fat来进行引导,教师指导学生学习新知。)5. Use the word-cards
