Practice a little every day 坚持每天练习你不可能天生就掌握快速阅读的技巧，所以需要不断练习，直到自如运用技巧，与其融为一体。即使每天只练习15到20分钟，你的阅读速度都会有

Know when to slow down 知道什么时候应该慢下来即使读得快有很多好处，你也应该意识到有些时候慢下来很重要，因为你需要完全理解文意。如果你读得很快却没有理解文章意思、获得有用的信息，这完全没有任何意义。另外，有些题材不应该读得太快或者囫囵吞枣。这些包括经典著作、诗歌、戏剧、专业书籍等。这些书的每一个字都应该被读到，被仔细分析。Method 2 Breaking Bad Habits 改掉坏习惯2 Avoid reading word-by-word 避免逐字阅读阅读英文时要按 chunks （意群）阅读，而不是一个单词一个单词的看。例如，最初级的阅读者会这样阅读：

Overcome inefficient eye movement 克服低效眼睛运动你的眼睛一次至少可以看到四到五个单词，不要浪费这个技能。休息一下面部，舒缓眼镜聚焦，这样会使你一次性看到更多的词，所以这让你的阅读变得更有效率。另外，周边视觉也要被充分利用。你甚至不需要聚焦到句尾就知道这句话在讲什么。4.
