11、s a refrigerator in the kitchen. 厨房里有个电冰箱。"a" 是一个不定冠词，表示泛指。 The refrigerator is white. 冰箱的颜色是白的。the right answer： It's white。 它是白色的。refrigerator 之前用的是定冠词the，表示特指。 the 通常有明确的所指，即对方和自己都知道所指的人或物。 the 的后面可以加可数名词单数或复数，也可以加不可数名词。the 在以元音音素开头的单词前读 ði: the eggs the umbrella the 在以辅音音素开头的单
12、词前读 ðE the glass the cups it's on the right 冰箱在右侧. (这里it 指 the refrigerator )There is an electric cooker in the kitchen. 厨房里有个电灶。 an electric cooker 听者不知道它是指哪一个电灶，它只是泛指电灶中的某一个，所以用不定冠词an； electric 是以元音音素开头的单词，前面的不定冠词要用"an", 不能用"a"。cooker 前面的是定冠词the，是特指前面一句刚刚提到的那电灶。 It is

( it 是指上句的cooker。)There is a table in the middle of the room. 房间的中央有张桌子。 in the middle of the room 在房间的中间 a table 是泛指一张桌子。There is a bottle on the table. 桌子上有个瓶子。( a bottle 是泛指一个瓶子，the table 是特指。)The bottle is empty. 瓶子是空的。the answer： The bottle isn't full. It is empty. The bottle 是指特指那个在桌子上面的瓶子。 There is a cup on the table, too.桌子上还有一只杯子。 (too”也”用在肯定句和疑问句当中, 前面用逗号隔开。)
