The entire building looks magnificent (宏伟的) with carved beams(梁) and rafters, (椽) which is a typical style of ancient China. It is the largest existing and best preserved former residence of a VIP in Hefei. It is a key cultural relic site under the protection of Anhui provincial government. •Bao Zheng (999–1062) was a much-praised official who served during the reign(统治时期) of Emperor Renzong of Northern Song Dynasty in ancient China. Culturally, Bao Zheng today is respected as the symbol of justice in China. Throughout history, his stories have appeared in a variety of different literary and dramatic genres(体裁）, and has enjoyed sustained popularity. Li Hongzhang (February 15, 1823 – November 7, 1901), was a Chinese civilian official who ended several major rebellions(叛乱), and a leading statesman(政治家) of the late Qing Empire. vYang Zhenning（1922--),v1957 Nobel Physics Prize laureate(获得者), one of the two earliest Chinese to receive the prize. vVae (许嵩) is a famous network singer, representing the voice of our generation.
