The poem stands not only as aninvitationtohispoeticworldbutalsopresentsthe figures that are central to the world: thepoet, the reader, the natural setting, and theanimal. In this way, Frost has very artfullydrawnusintocomplexity.SothesimplicityinFrostspoetryisdeceptive.
