29、owerstationscanincreasetofullpowerveryquickly,unlikeotherpowerstations.Electricitycanbegeneratedconstantly.DisadvantagesThedamsareveryexpensivetobuild.However,manydamsarealsousedforfloodcontrolorirrigation,sobuildingcostscanbeshared.Buildingalargedamwillfloodaverylargeareaupstream,causingproblemsfor

34、kenfromtheenergybeinggeneratedDisadvantagesThebigproblemisthattherearenotmanyplaceswhereyoucanbuildageothermalpowerstation.Youneedhotrocksofasuitabletype,atadepthwherewecandrilldowntothem.Thetypeofrockaboveisalsoimportant,itmustbeofatypethatwecaneasilydrillthrough.Sometimesageothermalsitemayrunoutofsteam,perhapsfordecades.Hazardousgasesandmineralsmaycomeupfromunderground,andcanbedifficulttosafelydisposeof.ConclusionThoughtherearemoreandmorerenewableenergysources,savingenergyisveryimportant.
