It was characterized by reliance on the imagination and subjectivity of nature. The French
2、philosopher, Rousseau, is generally regarded as the father of romanticism. The poem is ended with the famous line, ”if winter comes, can spring be far behind?” the theme of the poem is the mixture of death and r

The west wind, image of the poet himself, is the symbol of the destroyer of the old as well as the preserver of the new.Each stanza is made up of four units of terza rima completed by a couplet. The first and the third lines rhyme and the second line provides with a new rhyme for the next un
9、it. The interlocking rhyme gives the reader a feeling of onward motion. The poet uses various rhetorical devices, making the poem more vivid and colourful.JOHN KEATS.The narrator interacts with the urn in a manner similar to how a critic would respond to the poem, which creates ambiguity in the poems final lines: Beauty is truth, truth beauty, Like many of Keatss odes, Ode on a Grecian Urn discusses art and arts audience.
