Dex and Em faced squabbles, fights and hopes, yet missed opportunities, laughter and tears.As the true meaning
3、of that one day back in 1988 is revealed that they come to terms with the nature of love and life itself.I need to talk to someone, not someone, you.After his mothers death, Dex becomes even lost. He is addicted into drink and drugs. He has complicated relationships with several women.They meet in a
4、n expensive restaurant. But she never sees him sober. Even when he talks to her, he is always looking over her shoulder in case theres someone better option.She tells him, Dexter, I love you so much. So so much, and I probably always will. I just dont like you anymore.They keep letting slip each oth
5、er. When she is single in young, he is in love; when he needs her to accompany him, she meets Ian. When she have the courage to ask him if he would keep that promise that he will marry her when she is still single at forty , he gives her an invitation of his wedding. The bride isnt her.After he divo
6、rces, he comes to Paris to meet her, but she has met someone.He realizes she deserves to have so much more. Someone can make her happy, but not him. He decides to go back to London. Before his leaving, Emma tells him she never ending love for him.After 15 years they are finally together in 2001, he
7、swears he wont lead her on, let her down or go behind her back.However , life is unexpectedHe gets to know her, but she is gone forever because of an accident. She wont answer his phone anymore.At the end of book, Ian says to Dexter, “She makes you decent, and in return, you make her so happy.”从相遇到不
8、断的争吵、错过，直到最终在一起， 他们始终以朋友的身份关心对方。真实的生活中又有多少人以朋友的身份爱着一个人。他们有各自的生活，但是当对方再次出现的时候，他（她）依然是他（她）生命的主旋律。其实，在生活的纷繁琐碎中，很多的缺陷都会被放大。“从此王子和公主快乐的生活在一起”只是童话中的完美结局，现实生活中，爱从来不是一帆风顺的，它要经历的不仅是人生潮起潮落的悲欢，更多的是柴米油盐的平淡。可是年轻的时候我们总向往那些繁华美丽的表面和轰轰烈烈的感情，恰恰忽略了陪我们一起成长的人。当身边那些平淡的陪伴消失时，我们才发现，他们是那么的不可或缺。爱情也好，亲情也罢，现在的我们能做，珍惜陪在我们身边的人。结束语结束语谢谢大家聆听！谢谢大家聆听！24
