1、汉英语副词对比汉英语副词对比提纲提纲l界定l副词与句法成分l副词的灵活性l翻译引言引言l副词表示状况和程度的词（adverb）。l副词一般修饰动词、形容词以及其他副词。副词与句法成分副词与句法成分l英语副词可做:l状语lThe visitors were warmly received.l表语lMarry is down with a fever.lAre you up, Tom?l定语lAll the buildings around were built in 1083.lThe above remarks are quite to the point.l补语lI found him in
2、/out.lThey went to the airport to see their friends off. l汉语副词一般只能做状语，修饰动词、形容词或其他副词。少数副词可以做补语，但不能作定语、表语。副词的灵活性副词的灵活性l1. 汉语副词充当句子成份的灵活性不强；l2.汉语副词作状语也不如英语副词位置灵活，一般靠近动词。英语副词能根据修辞需要灵活置于句首、句中、或句末。翻译翻译l翻译中要注意，英语副词可以处理为汉语的形、动、名词等词类。汉译英时也要注意这种词类转换lTraditionally, there had always been good relations between
