BackgroundSince the 1960s, the concept of preservation of historic area in Japan has been widely accepted and emphasized seriously. From the preservation experience of the traditi

4、onal temple area in Kanazawa City, the preservation activities began with individual building and expanded to the entire block, in which the concept has been extended to restoration of urban history, culture from the preservation of building property. 22、icient information is yet unsatisfactory.
