2、suallyexpressedinatopicsentence,whichclearlystateswhatinformationtheparagraphwillgive.Notallparagraphshaveatopicsentence.Thisissometimesthecasewhen,forexample,aparagraphiscontinuingatopicintroducedinthepreviousparagraph,whichcontainedatopicsentence.Thetopicsentenceisusuallythefirstsentenceofaparagra
3、ph.However,inthefirstparagraphofanessay,astoryoranarticle,thetopicsentencemayoftenaninterestingfact,aquestionoraquotation.OlderAmericanareonthemove.2.SupportingsentencesThetopicsentenceshouldbefollowedbysentenceswhichhelpexplainorproveit.Fordecades,Floridahasbeenattractingolderresidents.Infact,accor
