1、第四节 形容词考点考点 1 形容词的定义、用法及位置形容词的定义、用法及位置考考点点梳梳理理形容词修饰名词或不定代词，表示人或事物的性质、特征或状态，在句子中主要用作定语、表语、补足语、状语等。1.作定语，放在名词前， 不定代词后。如：He is an honest boy.He has something important to tell you.2.作表语，放在系动词的后面。常见的系动词有be 动词，look, seem, taste, sound, feel, smell, become, grow, get等。如：考点考点1 形容词的定义、用法及位置形容词的定义、用法及位置考考点点梳
2、梳理理The chicken smells good.3.有些形容词只能作表语， 所以称为表语形容词。这类形容词没有级的变化，也不可用程度副词修饰：afraid, alive, alone, asleep, awake等以字母“a”开头的形容词。4.大部分形容词加-ly可构成副词。但friendly, deadly, lovely, lonely, likely, lively, ugly, brotherly等仍为形容词。如：She is a lovely girl.有些以-ly结尾的既为形容词，也为副词： daily, weekly, monthly, yearly。如：考点考点1 形容词

We go shopping weekly.5.作宾补，放在宾语后面，常与make, keep, leave等动词连用。如：Please keep the room clean and tidy.6.形容词加上定冠词the可泛指一类人，与谓语动词的复数连用。如：We should take care of the old. 4、定词数量词（序数词在前，基数词在后）形状形容词大小、长短、高低等形体新旧颜色材料名称。如：Look at those three beautiful large square old brown wood tables.考点考点 2 形容词比较等级的构成和用法形容词比较等级的构成和用法考考点点梳梳理理1. 大多数形容词有比较级和最高级的变化。原级即形容词的原形，比较级和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化两种。(1) 规则变化：单音节词和少数双音节词，词尾加-er, -est来构成比较级和最高级。(2) 不规则变化。2. 形容词原级、比较级和最高级的用法。(1) as+形容词原级as在否定句或疑问句中
5、可用so+形容词+as。如：He cant run so/as fast as you can.考点考点 2 形容词比较等级的构成和用法形容词比较等级的构成和用法考考点点梳梳理理(2) 形容词比较级+than比较级不能重复使用，但比较级前可用much, even, still, a little, a bit, rather, far, a lot来修饰。如：(错) He is more cleverer than his brother.(对) He is cleverer than his brother. 可以说：He is much cleverer than his brother.

8、eaner.The garden is becoming more and more beautiful.考点考点 2 形容词比较等级的构成和用法形容词比较等级的构成和用法考考点点梳梳理理比较级用于否定结构，表示“最不过”I cant buy anything better.我买不到比这更好的东西了。 (3) the+最高级比较范围形容词最高级前通常必须用定冠词the (最高级前有形容词性物主代词修饰的除外)。形容词most 前面没有the,不表示最高级的含义，只表示“非常”。It is the busiest day. (最高级前要有the)It is my busiest day. (最高
