1、Rebecca HeinCase Study #8Ethical Behavior of Business Students at Bayview UniversityDuring the global recession of 2008 and 2009, there were manyaccusations of unethical behavior by Wall Street executives, financialmanagers, and other corporate officers. At that time, an articleappeared that suggest
2、ed that part of the reason for such unethicalbusiness behavior may stem from the fact that cheating has become moreprevalent among business students. The article reported that 56% ofbusiness students admitted to cheating at some time during theiracademic career as compared to 47% of nonbusiness stud
3、ents.Cheating has been a concern of the dean of the college of Businessat Bayview University for several years. Some faculty members in thecollege believe cheating is more widespread at Bayview than at otheruniversities, while other faculty members think that cheating is not amajor problem in the co
4、llege. To resolve some ofthese issues, the deancommissioned a study to assess the current ethical behavior of businessstudents at Bayview. As part of this study, an anonymous exit survey wasadministered to a sample of 90 business students form this yeargraduating class. Responses to the following qu
