2、 the following aspects.Firstly, the analysis of teaching materialThis lesson is about present continuous tense of five words: flying, running, walking, jumping and swimming. By study of this lesson, the students know how to read these new words and can use the sentences: “What is it doing? Its and T

3、he .is .in real situation. Secondly, its about the studentsOur students of Grade five have learnt English for two years, the boys and girls are active, curious and interested in new things. They enjoy participation and love performance, being not afraid of making mistakes. They also love singing, ga

4、mes, and activities and particularly care about the teachers evaluation.Thirdly, the teaching aims. Based on the teaching material, the contents of this class and the present knowledge of the students, I put forward the following teaching objectives.1 Aims to the knowledge:a Enable the Ss to master

5、four skills new words : flying, running, walking, jumping and swimming.b Enable the Ss to understand and use the sentence pattern “What is it doing?” “Its The is ”. And can use them in real situations.2 Aims to the ability:a Develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking and using English in real s

7、o read these five new words correctly and pay more attentions to “ing”b Let the Ss to know the present continuous tense.Fourthly, I will talk about teaching methods we all know the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of listening and s

8、peaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson, Ill mainly use these methods.1. Interactive Teaching MethodWarm up: When I greet with the Ss before class, I will ask them some questions naturally, e.g. Whats your favorite season? What can you do in ? The purpose of this is t

9、o review the learned knowledge for the next step: Let the Ss guess the riddles about the seasons. At the same time, it forms a better English learning surrounding for the Ss.2. Situational Teaching MethodSituation: With the help of PPT, I set a situation of the sports meeting of the animals; I also

10、set a situation of joining the sports meeting of our school. The purpose of this is to arouse the Ss interest step by step of this lesson.3. Group Study MethodComparison: After present all the new words, I will let the Ss discuss in groups, try to compare the new words on the blackboard, to find the

11、 rules of present continuous tense.Next, lets focus on the teaching procedures.1、Interest is the best teacher(1)Before class, I will greet with the students and I also give some riddles for them to guess.(2) I divide the class into 4 groups, when they did good job, Ill phrase them like this.Purpose:
