1、普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语必修3 Unit 1 Festivals around the worldReading Festivals and celebrations 教学设计江西省新余市 叶有利教学设计思想:本单元的中心话题是“节日”,本节课的阅读篇章主要介绍古代节日的起源、亡灵节、纪念名人的节日、丰收节、春天的节日等,使学生了解各种节日的由来及其存在的意义。本节课采用任务型教学方法,充分调动学生的学习积极性,让学生成为课堂主体,教师成为学生学习的指导者。将听、说、读、写融入课堂,通过“任务型”活动来实现教学目标,使学生能够通过亲身参与和实践、感悟和体验英语,发展语言技能,进而逐步获得

2、综合语言运用能力。本节课以师生谈论自己在春节期间的经历和感受为导入,激活学生关于节日的背景知识。之后自然而然地过渡到阅读部分,阅读部分主要包括略读、寻读和精读三个环节,由浅入深,学生在了解文章主要内容的同时一些基本的阅读技能如注意小标题、寻找关键词等也得到了很好地训练。读后部分主要是让学生通过讨论更深层次地理解课文,即对节日的意义有一个更好的了解。在阅读教学之后设计了一个活动:学生以小组合作的方式创设一个新的节日。这一活动旨在提高学生将知识和技能转化为实际运用英语的能力,真正达到信息输出的目的。教学目标:1 让学生通过阅读了解世界各国各种节日的基本知识;2 引导学生认识节日的分类、节日对人们生

3、活的影响,从更深的层面理解各国节日的意义;3 训练学生略读(skimming)、寻读(scanning)、细读(detailed reading)等阅读技能;4 通过世界各国不同节日的学习培养学生的跨文化交际意识。教学过程Step 1 Lead in (3 minutes)Show some pictures taken during the Spring Festival and share the experience of the Spring Festival with the students. Then ask the students about the things they

4、did during the festival and their feelings.(设计意图:本节课在新学期伊始,学生刚刚过完春节回到学校上课,仍然沉浸在节日的气氛中,教师先通过图片的方式与学生分享自己在春节期间所做的一些事情,介绍当地的一些风俗以及自己的感受。在此基础上,让学生用英语简单谈谈自己的春节经历和感受,学生有话可说,可以活跃课堂气氛,同时也能激活学生关于节日的背景知识,为后面的阅读部分作铺垫。)Step 2 Fast reading (7 minutes)Task 1 Skimming: Skim the passage to find out how many types o
