Students learn to cooperate with their partners.教学设计:由于学生在七、八年级已经学过一般过去时态,具有了学习本单元知识的基础,能自然地与本单元进行衔接。本单元的核心话题为“talk about what you used to be like”,谈论自己和他人过去经常做的事,谈论自己和他人过去的外貌/性格/爱好。根据这一情况教师对教材进行整合、取舍并及时扩充必要材料,设定了这个教学目标。在学法指导上通过观察图片、听力理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成目标语言的输入,学习

6、句型“used to” 为主要学习任务,通过对于前置性作业的完成,培养学生自主学习的习惯,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。2Focuses: the structure ”used to” and its negative and interrogative forms 掌握该结构不同形式的用法是本课的重点,同时也是难点。3 Difficulties: How to use the structure ”used to” and its negative and int

(Section A 1a-2c)-You used to be short, didnt you?-Yes, I did./No, I didnt.-Did you use to wear glasses?-Yes, I did./No, I didnt.教学反思:本单元的核心话题为“talk about what you used to be like”,是教学重点,同时也是教学难点。本课的设计主要以活动的方式使学生轻松学会了如何谈论人们过去的外貌和性格,同时还学会了识别不同人物的外貌特征。设计的活动,丰富了学生课堂形式,同时也是一种真实的体验,增加学生的语言实践,促进他们在整个教学活动中主动参与。同时对学生进行情感教育,达到了教学目标,并且让他们明白每个人都很特别!每个人都很重要!不要以貌取人!新课程倡导面向全体学生,使不同层次的学生都有所得。本课在设计过程中,充分考虑学生的差异,设计使不同层次学生都能完成的任务,使全体学生都能够参与到活动中来,激发了学习兴趣与热情。课堂上,让每个学生都参与学习活动,设置不同的情景,在情景中进行教学,学生们不知不觉地学习了知识,使教学走向希望。个别学生由于害怕犯错误不敢大胆发言,今后应多组织活动培养学生的自信心及参与意识。
