1、Countable noun and Uncountable noun名词分为专有名词和普通名词。专有名词表示人，机构，场所等特有的名词，如：the United Nations/the World Health Organization普通名词又分为可数名词和不可数名词。一 可数名词的数。（单数和复数两种形式）（1） 可数名词复数基本变化规则词尾字母情况变化方法例词反例词一般情况加-sbird-birds;cake-cakes;dog-dogs;lake-lakes 以字母o结尾 加-esNegro-Negroes;hero-heroestomato-tomatoes;potato-pota

6、glasses; scissors; cross-roads; congratulations; savings; chopsticks; gloves; socks.扩展;以上词可以与a pair of 连用，be动词与pair保持一致。如：a pair of shoes; three pairs of shoes.（d）有些名词以单数形式出现却以复数形式对待Police; people; poultry不能说 a people; a police,但可以说a person; a policeman二，不可数名词数量的表达(1) 不可数名词通常没有复数形式，如：paper; water; f
