2、ove for miles and lin ed the streets wavinghomemade signs, who scrimped and saved to raise money, who knocked on doors and madecalls, w ho talked and sometimes argued with yo ur friends and neighbors, (APPLAUSE)who emailedand contributed online, who invested so much in our co mmon enterprise. To the

Ive t old you before about Florence Steen of S outh Dakota, who was 88 yearsold, and i nsisted that her daughter bring an absentee ballot to her hos

7、pice bedside. Her da ughterand a friend put an American flag behind her bed and helped her fill out th e ballot. She passedaway soon after, and under state law, her ballot didnt count. But her daughter later told areporter, My dads an ornery old cowboy, and he didnt like it when he heard moms votew

8、ouldnt be counted. I dont think he had voted in 20 years.
