The aim of this study is to provide guidance for selecting proper surface finishing and lubrication methods to improve the efficiency and quality of the die-cutting process.Introduction:The rule die is a key component in the die-cutt

3、ing process. It is used to cut, score or perforate the substrate material in a precise shape. The rule die consists of a die board and a series of steel rules that stick out from the die board. The substrate material is placed on the die board and the steel rules are forced through the substrate by

4、a hydraulic press. The die-cutting process is repeated multiple times on a large sheet of substrate material to obtain desired shapes.The surface roughness of rule die cavities has a significant effect on the quality of the die-cutting process. An optimal surface roughness is required to maintain a

5、good balance between holding the substrate and releasing it after the cutting. The surface finish can be improved by using different machining methods, such as EDM or grinding.
