7、词的用法some, any, no, every这四个词语常和body一起构成指人的复合代词：somebody, anybody, nobody, everybody。它们还可与thing一起构成指物的复合代词：something, nothing, anything, everything。这些代词由于不特定指哪一个人或物，故统称为不定代词。使用不定代词时，应注意如下几点：（1） something, somebody通常用于肯定句中。something意为“某事”，somebody意为“某人”。（2）anything, anybody则通常用于疑问句或否定句。anything用于指物，an
8、ybody则用于指人。用在肯定句中时，表示“任何事物”、“任何人”。（3）nothing和nobody通常用于肯定句式中，表示一个否定的意思，分别译作“没有东西，没有什么”、“没有人”。（4）everything和everybody分别表示“一切事情”、“每人，人人”之意，通常用于肯定句中。（5）不定代词被形容词修饰时，这个形容词要放在不定代词的后面，不能前置。如：I have something to do this evening.今天晚上我有事要做。Somebody will call me this afternoon. 今天下午会有人给我打电话。Can anybody help me
9、?有人给我帮忙吗？Can I do anything for you?我能为你做点什么吗？I cant do anything for him.= I can do nothing for him.我不能为他做什么。I dont know anybody here.= I know nobody here.这里我一个人也不认识。He knows everything in his work.他对他工作中的一切事情都了解。Everybody knows him in the town. 镇上的每一个人都认识他。I have something interesting to tell you.我有
10、些有趣的事情告诉你。2关于将来时的几种表达方式关于将来时态，我们已习惯于用“be going to”和“will”两种表达形式。这里要讲的是一些形式上有别于它们，但在含义上表“将来”的情况。如：What do you want to do? （= What are you going to do?或What will you do?）你想要去干什么？句中动词“want”从意义上可表将来。如：Jill and Kate are going hiking with their class tomorrow.明天，吉尔、凯特要和他们班同学去徒步旅行。“are going”等于“are going t
