2、hit the four animals.Language focus:The name of the four main animal characters, i.e. Andy(the monkey), Amy(the rabbit),Bobby(the elephant), and Koto(the kangaroo)By the end of this lesson, some children might be able to pick up the language “hi/hello. Whats your name? My name is ” through singing t

3、he song “hi, hello. Whats your name?”Materials needed:Tapes ; puppets and pictures of Andy, Amy, Bobby and Koto; the fragmentary pictures of Andy, Amy, Bobby and Koto.Procedures:Activity 1: listen to the song “hi, hello. Whats your name?” and get o know four animal friends. (Do the “lets sing ” sect

4、ion of page 2)1. Show a puppet monkey to get children to guess his name and then ask them to listen to the song “hi, hello. Whats your name?” and try to find out his name, i.e. Andy.2. Use the same way to introduce Andys three friends, Amy, The rabbit , Bobby, the elephant, and Koto, the kangaroo.(u

5、se the puppets to introduce the names of the four main animal characters in the textbook, and get the children to listen to the song four times very carefully since they want to find out the names of the animals from this song.
