1、 Unit 4 At the sports meeting （Part A）Teaching aims：1、Ss can listen, speak, read and write the phrases：have a sports meeting throwing high jump long jump running race 100-meter race2、Ss can use the following sentences patterns flexibly: What are you good at ? I am good at Whats your favorite sport?

My favorite sport is Step two: 呈现新知：Lets learn (Lets learn more words about sports)A、教授单词 throwinga. 观看多媒体课件直观的理解单词意思b. 学生自主探究throwing的构成、发音.c. 汇报：将throwing 分解为th+row+ing 三部分d. 师生共同探讨发音规律及意思，学生试读单词。e、规范发音，边做
4、动作边说词组，理解、巩固词组。B 、 教授词汇 100-meter race 和running racea、分别介绍两个词组中的各个单词：meter 米， race 比赛在结合起来理解单词100-meter race（100米比赛）b、学生根据老师讲解解，尝试理解词组。c、 根据元音字母和字母组合在单词中的发音规律来学习单词发音。d、学生自己观察running race 的构成并同桌交流，最后汇报(running是run 的动名词形式，双写 n再加ing )race 速度类比赛，两个单词合并构成running赛跑e、 观看多媒体课件加深孩子们的印象，听读音再次规范发音。C、 教授词汇long
5、jump 和high jump 这两组单词中没有生单词，通过理解单独单词来识记单词较好，也可通过做动作说单词来巩固练习。D 、教授短语have a sports meeting同样采用直观教学法，向学生展示出一个运动会的场面，理解单词，同时可以试着让学生用已经学过的句子来套用新单词，来进一步巩固前面所学的词组，将词组融入到句子中，相互交流。T: Look at this picture, guess, what are they doing?（展示运动会的课件） Ss：They are having a sports meetingT: Yes, they are having a sport

I am good at 调查家人、朋友擅长的运动项目，对本节课的句型进行实际运用，对句型和词组进一步巩固练习。
