Natural scientists believe that, under appropriate conditions, many new types of energy and hitherto unknown energy so

4、urces are likely to be made for human use.Not long after that, the atomic bomb came into being. In the past 10 years, many people have tried to apply scientific discoveries to practice. Some have succeeded, others have failed.In my opinion, the theoretical application of the field of natural science

5、 is a time-consuming and laborious task. But even if people realized this long ago, they would never lose patience because scientists could not provide easy, cheap and versatile atomic energy resources for industry. Even if it takes decades, and millions of dollars to gain more than todays economic

6、resources, most people can understand and accept.Comparing the development potential of the field potential of social science and natural science of nuclear power development, seems a bit proud as Lucifer. But in essence, the analogy is not as ridiculous as it seems at first sight.In addition to dif

7、ferences in degree and form, todays social sciences are in the same position as the nuclear power of Natural Science in 1930s. We all acknowledge that previous conceptions of human nature were flawed and even incorrect in many ways. To be sure, under the right conditions in the future, many of the c

8、reative human resources that are now unforeseen will be used by the organization.We can not tell industrial managers how to apply new theoretical knowledge simply and economically. To achieve this goal, it will take a long time to explore, a huge amount of research funding, and constant innovation i

9、n management. Only in this way can we better apply the knowledge and improve the human resource function of the organization.This analogy seems somewhat exaggerated, some overbearing, but I think it is very important, sincerely hope to get the attention of people.The task of management; a convention

10、al viewAccording to the traditional view, the application of human resources to meet organizational needs in management can be summarized into 3 propositions. For simplicitys sake, I named this proposition X theory.:Management is the process of organizing the elements of a productive enterprise (inc

11、luding capital, raw materials, equipment, personnel, etc.) for the purpose of achieving economic benefits.From the employees point of view, management is the process of directing, motivating, controlling, and correcting the behavior to meet the organizations needs.Without active intervention in mana

12、gement, people will react negatively to organizational needs and eventually evolve into resistance. Therefore, managers must persuade, reward, punish, and control employees; that is to say, their actions must be directed, and that is the task of management. As for this, we often sum up as follows: m

13、anagement means asking people to do some work. Behind this traditional theory, many potential ideas have been derived, which, though not expressed, have been widely circulated.Most people are born lazy, and they work less whenever possible.Most people lack ambition, and they do not like to be respon

14、sible and willing to be managed.Most people are born to be self centred and indifferent to organizational needs.Most people are born with fear of change.Most people are not smart enough to be cheated and deluded.Today, the human side of the business is based on these ideas. The traditional organizat

15、ional structure, management policy and management practice reflect the above hypothesis.There are many ways to implement administrative tasks, but they are between two extremes (based on the assumptions above).Rigid management or flexible management?The first extreme is a tough management approach.

16、In command, the use of coercion, threat (sometimes in disguised form), strict monitoring of employee behavior and other means; the second extreme is to adopt flexible management methods. Through command, empowerment, meeting staff needs, and maintaining a harmonious atmosphere. In this environment, employees will be more likely to follow orders.Over the past 50 years, people have studied the
