1、Unit 2 Turn left at the corner第一课时 Vocabulary and Target一、 教学目标：本课要求学生能够理解掌握并运用新单词学习如何询问路径，如Where is?学习如何回答问路的问题和描述不同位置的具体路径，如：Turn left at the corner, it is across from.二、 教学重点：正确理解并熟练运用本课新单词和句型。三、 教学难点：1、 across from, go straight, traffic light的发音。2、 运用新知识学会问路和描述路线。四、教法与学法：运用情景教学法，通过小组讨论、小组合作、游戏、英
2、语歌曲、阅读课文及角色扮演等活动帮助学生理解并有效运用语言。五、学情分析：在以往的学习中，学生已掌握了介词“on, next to, behind”等词汇及“where”的句型，为本单元“问路”话题奠定了基础。六、教具与学具：电脑，投影仪，PPT，图画卡片Step 2:Warming up1.教师与学生互致问候。e.g.T：HOW are you?What day is today?T:Where are you going tommorrow?2.教师引导学生猜测Gogo将去的地方。T：Where is Gogo going?Can you guess?Step 2:Presentation
3、1.T:Gogo is going to see a movie.But where is the movie theater?Letslook at the map.教师展示地图，引导学生说出地图上的各种名词，如hospital,supermarket,school,bank,park,restaurant.教师指出巴士站，接到和交通灯，引导学生学习新词bus stop,street和traffic light,学生在老师的带领下跟读。2.教师提问并板书T：Where is the movie theater?用单词卡指导学生学习go straight,turn right,at the c
4、orner词组，学生在理解的基础升分别小组跟读，个人跟读。3.在情景交际中教词组。T:After seeing a movie ,Gogo is going to the supermarket.Where is the supermarket?教师用单词卡指导学生学习turn left,across form词组，呈现It is across form the.4.播放Target部分录音，学生跟录音读。播放生活中西方人问路的片段视频，让学生发现录音和视频的共同点，在问路前都先用礼貌用语Excuse me 和Pardon me.Step 3:Practice1.快速说单词游戏，教师提供一张地图，请学生们看着校园附近熟悉的环境，结合新学的词汇，快速说出特指的位置，如：at the corner,Homework : Recite the Vocabulary and Target.板书设计：turn left turn right go straight across fromstreet corner traffic light bus stop
