3、fZhurongPeak,Thetemplewaslatermovedtothemountainfoottofacilitatethereligiousactivities.ThebeginningoftheTangDynastywitnessedtheformalconstructionoftheHeavenlyLordHuosTempletheHeavenlyMasterTemple.SoastoenshrineandworshiptheGodsofthefivesacredmountains,DuringtheSongDynastytheimmortaloftheHengshanMoun
4、tainwasreveredastheHeavenlyMasterZhaosheng,asaresultthetemplewasgraduallyexpandedandenlarged.SincetheTangDynastyNanyueTemplehadbeedsubjecttosixfiresand16reconstructionsallthroughtheSong.Yuan,MingandQingDynasties.Inthe8thyearofEmperorGuangxusreignintheQingDynasty(1882A.D),theImperialCourtorderedtherb
5、uildingofNanyueTemple.Whichhadbeenruinedbylightning,Theprojectwasimitative.CopyingthestylesoftheImperialPalace.Andeventothepresentdayitisstillwellpreserved.Fencedwithred-brickwalls.NanyueTempleccupiesanareaofsome70.000squaremetres.Fromnorthtosouthliesinsequenceninerowsandfourcourtyards-LingxingGate.

11、ndhasitthatBixiistheninthsonofthedragon.TheBixicarriesanimperialsteleonwhichthefulltextofOnRebuildingNanyueTemplewascarvedinthe47thyearofKangxisreign(1780A.D.)intheQingdynasty.ThefifthrowisJiayingGate.NamedafterthelinefromTheAnnalsofHan-BooksofRitesandJoysThisrowistheplacewherelocalmagistratesandmon
12、kswelcomedritualofficialsdispatchedfromthecapital.AftertheJiayingGatethesixthrowcomesintoview-TowerofImperialStudy.Whichisthestorehouseofthecollectionofimperialcalligraphies.messagesandinscribedboardsconcerningthepastemperorsritualpresentationstothemountain.Sweeetosmanthusaheadofthetowersubmergesthe
