5、videncedbysubmittingapowerofattorneysignedbylegallyauthorisedsignatoriesofallthemembersofthejointventure;(c)thejointventuresponsorshallbeauthorisedtoincurliabilitiesandreceiveinstructionsforandonbehalfofanyandallmembersofthejointventureandtheentireexecutionofthecontractincludingpaymentshallbedoneexc
6、lusivelywiththejointventuresponsor;conditionsofcontract:parti-generalpartii-conditionsofparticularapplication1volume2specificationbillofquantitiesschedulesofsupplementaryinformation1volume4drawingsthepricedbillofquantities;theschedulesofsupplementaryinformation;theinformationoneligibilityandqualific
7、ations;alternativeoffers,ifany;andanyotherinformationrequiredtobesubmittedinaccordancewiththeseinstructions.foreigncurrency(a)expatriatestaffdirectlyemployedontheworks:(b)socialcharges,insurancepremiumsandmedicalcarerelatedtosuchstaff,andtravelexpensesbetweenchinaandthecountryoforigin;(c)alistofthei
8、mportedmaterials,bothtemporaryandpermanent,requiredfortheworks;(d)depreciationandusageofplantandequipment,includingspareparts,requiredfortheworks;(e)insuranceandfreightchargesforimportedmaterials,plantandequipment,includingspareparts;and(f)overheadexpenses,feesandfinancialchargesincurredoutsidechina
9、.localcurrency(g)locallabour;(h)localmaterials;(i)otherservices,and;(j)overheadexpenses,feesandfinancialchargeswithinchina.(a)bankofchina;(b)anyofitscorrespondentbankabroadthroughbankofchina;(c)anyotherchineseorforeignbankoperatinginchina;(i)signtheagreement;or(ii)furnishthenecessaryperformancesecur
10、ity.15.alternativeoffers(a)advanceloanformobilisation(b)(writtenasspecificconditions).15.3offersoftechnicalalternativesshallbeacpaniedbyallinformationnecessaryforapleteevaluation,includingdesigncalculations,drawings,methodstatementsandspecificationsformaterialsandworkmanshipwherethealternativeisnotc
11、overedbythespecification,togetherwithabreakdownofthealternativepricesandthetotalalternativecontractsum.18.2theinnerandouterenvelopesshall:(a)beaddressedto_.(addressofemployersagent)(b)bearthefollowingdetails:(ii)_project;(iii)donotopenbefore_.(a)wherethereisadiscrepancybetweenamountsinfiguresandinwo
12、rds,theamountinwordswillnormallygovern,unlessitisclearfromthecontextthattheamountinfiguresiscorrect;and(b)wherethereisadiscrepancybetweentheunitrateandthetotalamountderivedfromthemultiplicationoftheunitrateandthequantity,theunitrateasedwillnormallygovernunless,intheopinionoftheemployer,thereisobviou
13、slyagrosserrorintheunitrate;inwhicheventthetotalamountasedwillgovernandtheunitratewillbecorrected.(a)makinganycorrectionforerrorspursuanttoclause26;(b)excludingprovisionalsumsandtheprovision,ifany,forcontingenciesinthesummarybillofquantities,butincludingdayworkswherepricedpetitively;(c)convertingall
14、amountstoasinglecurrency;(d)addinganymoarycostofmobilisationadvances,assessedinaccordancewithsub-clause28.3(a)beregisteredwithinchina;(b)havemajorityownershipbynationalsofchina;and(c)shallnotsubcontractmorethan_%ofthecontractworks(intermsofvalue)toforeigncontractors.29.2binationsandjointventuresbetw
15、eendomesticandforeignfirmsshallbeeligibleforthemarginofpreferenceprovided:(a)thedomesticpartnerorpartnersindividuallysatisfythecriteriaforeligibilitysetoutabove;(b)thedomesticpartnerorpartnerswill,underthearrangementsproposed,carryoutatleast_%ofthecontractworks,measuredintermsofvalue.(c)thedomesticpartnerorpartnerswouldnotbequalifiedforthecontractworksinquestionontechnicalorfinancialgroundswithouttheforeignparticipation.29.3thefollowingprocedurewillbeusedtogive
