1、教学内容Unit 1 How often do you exercise?(Section A 1a, 1b,1c,2a,2b,2c)课时Period 1教学对象八年级学生设计者安金珍一、教材内容分析本节课选自人教版新目标八年级上册Unit 1 How often do you exercise? Section A(1a-2c) 本单元以“How often do you exercise ?”为话题展开教学活动。首先学会恰当地使用频率副词及短语,再学会描述课余时间的活动安排和基本饮食结构。通过复习七年级学习过的动词短语,及本单元的听力练习,各种方式的口语交际活动和写作练习,使学生积极参与,

2、合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。教材在本单元第一课时,安排了关于谈论课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词,为进一步地使用频率副词及动词短语做语言知识上的准备。由于本单元Section A主要谈论课余时间的活动安排及恰当地使用频率副词及短语:Section B 主要描述基本饮食结构及学习表述频率。两部分既有联系又有独立的话题,教材内容的合理安排有利于学生对知识的掌握和运用,也符合学生的认知规律,由浅入深,循序渐进。因此在教材内容的使用上我没有进行重新整合,完全按教材的顺序组织教学。本节课主要学习恰当地使用频率副词及短语,并用它们描述课余活动。二、教学目标(知识与能力,情感态度与价

3、值观)1.知识与能力:1)恰当使用always usually often sometimes hardly ever never 等频率副词和日常活动短语:watch TV go shopping read books exercise等。掌握句型: What do you usually do on weekends? I often go to the movies. What does she do on weekends ? She sometimes goes to the movies.How often do you shop?I shop once a month.How o

4、ften does Cheng watch TV?He watches TV twice a week.2) 学习描述课余时间的活动安排,初步培养学生的语言综合运用能力。2.情感态度与价值观:培养学生的逻辑表述能力,激发学生的积极思维,并使学生互相了解,增进友谊,加强人际交往,以形成良好的人际关系。三、重点、难点教学重点:核心句型: What do you usually do on weekends? I often go to the movies.How often does he exercise?He exercises twice a week.教学难点:第三人称单数谓语动词在此核

5、心句型中的运用;频率副词的自如运用。四、教法选择与学法指导本节课,以运用远程教育资源和计算机网络资源中的图片、flash动画、声音媒体等手段学习复习有关课余活动的单词及词组,创设各种合作学习的活动,促使学生互相学习、互相帮助,营造良好的语言学习情景。创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己感兴趣的问题并自主解决问题,结合学生生活实际,实现远程教育资源与英语学科知识的整合;采用情景视听法,交际法,小组合作学习,任务型教学法,为学生设置真实的情景、语境,使学生在思考、交流、合作探究中学习和使用语言。五、资源准备多媒体课件、录音机、教室及相关教学资源。六、教学过程教学任务教师活动学生活动设计意图及资源准备Ta

7、课是开学后的第一课时,先引导学生回忆假期生活,既能调节学生的精神状态,又能自然的引入新课的学习。Task2Presentation(4)1. Ask the questions.2.Review the sentence pattern3. Teach new words and phrases.1. Answer the questions.2. Repeat the new words and answer the questions.通过复习旧句型“What do you usually do on weekends ? ,引出了七年级曾学过的频率副词usually和一些动词短语,减轻学

8、生学习新课的难度。同时教授新词汇。Task 3Guessinggame(2)Show some people with activities, but cover the activities, have Ss guess what they do on weekends.Try to guess what people do on weekends.通过游戏调动学生的学习积极性,加深对所学词汇的掌握。Task 4Presentation(5)1. Show the diagram of adverbs frequency.2. Show some pictures and talk abou

9、t the pictures, try to understand the meaning of them.3. Summary.1. Look at the screen carefully and think it over.2. Read the sentences and try to understand the meaning of the words and know how to use them correctly.3. Sum up the usage of the adverbs.此环节是本课的重点,先出示图表让学生观察,体会频率副词所表示频率的差别,再通过例句掌握它们在

10、实际中的运用,最后小结它们的含义。Task 5Practice(5)1. Show some pictures and let Ss talk about them.2. Ask Ss “What do they do on weekends?”Have Ss answer the questions according to the given phrases and frequency adverbs.1. Try to understand how to do it.2. Practice in pairs. Pay attention to the frequency adverbs.

11、在学生理解了频率副词之后,进行小组操练,既加深了对所学目标语言的掌握和运用,又提高学生的口语表达能力。Task 6Survey and report(5)1. Have Ss make a survey.2. Show some examples and let them read , make sure Ss know how to make a survey.3. Give them some key phrases.4. Solve the problems if they have.5. Ask some Ss to give a report.1. Read the sentence

Give a report on “what do you do on weekends?”此环节是教学中的拓展和延伸,把前几个部分所学的零散的句型进行一个综合的练习,旨在加深学生对所学知识的掌握,通过汇报,进一步提高学生说的能力及综合运用知识的能力。Task 7Activities and listeni
