Im glad to be here to share my ideas of teaching with you. The lesson I am going to talk about is “go for it, Unit8 When is your birthday? Section B

2、(1a1d). It is selected from the PEP version, Grade 7, book 1. I will talk about it from six parts. They are Teaching material analysis ; Students Analysis; Teaching Methods and Learning Strategies; Teaching Procedures; Blackboard Design and teaching reflection. I will introduce my teaching plan one

3、by one. Now, lets begin.Part One . Analysis of teaching material lets see the first part: Analysis of teaching material. In this part, I will analyze the teaching material from these four aspects. 1. Status and Function Lets begin with the Status and Function . The topic In this lesson is about the

4、dates of some events. In section A students have already learned the months, the dates, and “when “questions. In this lesson students will use what they have learned to make more practices to master these sentences structures. It will make further improvement on students abilities of listening and s

5、peaking so as to make them ready for the following reading and writing parts. 2. Teaching objectives. The second aspect is Teaching objectives. I divide the objectives into knowledge objectives, ability objectives and emotion objectives. (1). knowledge objectives. First, knowledge objectives. In thi

6、s lesson, we will review the ordinal numbers and the months. And students should try their best to master some new words, useful expression and structure. learn to express the dates of some important events. (2). Ability objectives A. To improve students listening and speaking ability. B. To learn t

7、o cooperate with others and communicate with others on dates(3) .Emotion objectivesA. Enable the students to arrange their own time , plan their study and activities reasonably to make their study efficient and the life colorful.B. learn about the important days in China ,and Cultivate their love fo

8、r life3. Key and Difficult Points The third aspect, Key and Difficult Points. A. As For the key points, Ss will learn some words and sentence structures about dates of some events . ss should pay more attention to “when” questions and possessives B. The difficult points are that my students can pred

9、ict the main ideas of listening, use the target language to communicate and Introduce their own schedule 4. Teaching Aids As for teaching aids, Id like to use some Multi-media computer, blackboard, PPT. .cartoons, pictures and tape recorders to help me in class. Using these aids, I can not only attr

10、act ss attention and interest, but also express knowledge more easily and clearly. Part Two: Analysis of students As we know , students is the center of teaching activity, they play an important role in teaching procedures. Most of my students are curious, active and creative, But some of them are e

11、asy to be absent-minded and always make grammatical mistakes. so some of them are shy, they arent good at communication. So Ill provide real contexts, various tasks and challenging activities. The purpose is to motivate students learning enthusiasm and cooperative spirit. Part Three: Teaching Method

12、s and Learning StrategiesI will use several methods in my class. Then lets see The teaching methods 1.The teaching methods The teaching methods Ill use are: Task-based teaching methods, situational teaching methods, and Interactive teaching methods, ,communicative teaching method A. Use “Task-based”

13、 teaching method to design different kinds of tasks to increase their motivation. B. Use situational teaching method to create a real context to arouse their interests. I will use Competition,Role play to set particular situations for ss to make practices. C.Interactive teaching method is also used

14、to achieve the goal of student-teacher interaction and student-student interaction. I will do it by doing Dialogue, Ask & AnswerD. Use communicative teaching method to cultivate students abilities of listening and speaking2. Learning StrategiesI will guide the students to master the following learni

15、ng strategies gradually: prediction, cooperation and autonomous learning, Aural-oral practicePart four : Teaching ProceduresI divide it into seven steps. .They are: warm up & revision; lead in & presentation; pre-listening while-listening; post listening; consolidation & exercise and homework.Step 1 : Warm up & revisionFirst , Ill play a song called months of the year, By doing this, I can make the students Focus on the class, at the same time , we can review the names of the months. Second, Ill show some flash cards and ask the students to
