Each up to 20 cm long. 3) 能读懂短文并正确完成填充练习。2 知识目标:简单了解海洋生物抹香鲸和虎鲸的外部特征和生活习性。 3 情感目标:唤起学生对海洋生物的热爱

2、,激发他们探索海洋奥妙的求知精神。教学重点难点1 重点:让学生理解、会读短文内容;并能正确理解几个常用的单位词:ton, meter, kg, cm。2 难点:本课语言知识含量大,生词多,学生阅读、理解会有一定难度,教师需下大力气帮助学生充分理解并学会朗读。教学准备教师准备:课件、奖励用的小粘贴学生准备:自己喜爱的动物资料教学过程一、 Warm-up and Review1. Warm-up and arouse the mood of the students. T: Listen to me carefully and follow me. 听教师的指令和教师一起做出较夸张的动作,如:ta

3、ll, short, long, short, big, small, old, young, strong, thin. T: Can you do the actions now? Lets try again. Lets see who can do it quickly. 动作做得快的奖给小粘贴。通过热身活动调动他们的学习积极性。 2Review the things we have learned.(1)Free talk 用比较级比较到教室听课的老师的高矮胖瘦年龄等。 (2)问一个学生有多重,写出单词weight及单位kg。出示一头大象及它的体重,写出单位ton。1 ton=100

4、0kg (3)出示一张床及它的长度,写出单词length及单位meter。出示一把尺子及它的长度,写出单位cm。1 m=100cm。二、 Presentation 1 Learn the new words.T: Do you love the sea? Whats in the sea? 引导学生说出他们知道的海洋生物,如:fish。由于课本中学过的海洋动物较少,教师创设情境:T: There are many fish in the sea. There are still many other animals in it. Do you want to know them? Now le

5、ts go and have a look.教学生学习新单词,如:squid, lobster, shark, seal, sperm whale, killer whale, 单词配图逐一呈现,引导学生注意学过的字母及字母组合的发音, 如: i /i/, qu /kw/, er / /, sh / /, ar /a: /, ea /i: /, er /: /, wh /w/, 让学生自己先试着用学过的音标知识读出发音,然后教师再教,培养他们运用音标自学的能力。2 Learn the knowledge about the sperm whale. 8、each tooth up to 20 cm long. Its tail is 8 meters long. It eats squid, lobsters and small shark. It can dive into the deep cold water. 让学生回答问题,教师边填表边说:The length of a sperm whale is 15 meters. The weight of a sperm whale is 35 tons. It has 50 teeth and each up to 20 cm long. 用动作和图片帮助学生理解每个牙齿都达20 cm

9、长。并教学生读单词,让学生通过联想读出新词:ten, math length; eight weight; bee teeth; ill kill skill 。并举例让学生明白skill的意思,如:A monkey can climb trees, so climbing trees is the monkeys skill. A fish can swim, so swimming is the fishs skill. 回答完问题、填完表后让学生跟课本录音朗读,并一起朗读, 3 Learn the knowledge about the killer whale. Please fill
