Reviewing th
4、e establishment of HKMD, Mr. Siu said, Before the establishment of HKMD, the 3 companies under the Win Sun Group, namely the NC Punching Ltd., Hong Kong Precision Co., Ltd. And Win Sun Metal Products Co., Ltd., all were running their own tooling departments. Concerning the huge in-house demand for q
5、uality moulds and escalating demand of the market, the board of directors believed that the prospect of the mould-making business should be optimistic and it was the best time to set up HKMD. a new and independent mould-making company. And our decision has been proved correct, reviewing the satisfac
6、tory performance of HKMD in the last three years, both in its sales turnover and business development. According to Mr. Siu, HKMD now forms a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with other member companies of the Group. With its quality moulds and dies, HKMD has helped promote our metal
7、 and plastic businesses. In return, the further expansion of our metal and plastic businesses has also created a strong and continuous demand for moulds and dies from HKMD. All these have resulted in a healthy growth of the Groups business.Plastic and Metal Merged Big SuccessToday, HKMD produces ann
8、ually over 2,000 sets of moulds and dies, mainly for the applications in the manufacture of communication equipment, office automation equipment, medial apparatus, security facilities, consumer electronics, and auto parts. Among them the moulds and dies for office equipment have contributed a domina
9、nt share of 60-70%. In the market, there are now many good makers, either in plastic moulds or metal dies, but very few like HKMD, which has proudly taken a leap by merging these two technologies in one. Unlike our predecessors who used to believe that the makings of metal dies and plastic moulds in
10、volved two different technologies, HKMD is now capable of producing metal dies with plastic moulding technology, and vice versa. 13、 been put on the punctual delivery and quality control of its products at HKMD, which has been accredited with ISO 9001:2000. On-time delivery and good quality control are vitally important for every good mould maker. The failure of the maker to deliver his mould on time will result in the delay of
14、the customers production schedule and product launch. On the other hand, if the mould is found of Inferior quality after its shipment, both the mould maker and user will suffer a big loss not only in their time and money, but also company reputation. To avoid such kind of problems. HKMD has set a st
15、ringent management system on product delivery and quality control. Whenever we receive a new order from our customers, we will set a production plan immediately and propose the schedule to our customers. with every procedure marked with a completion date, both our technicians and customers can follo
16、w and monitor the mould-making process with ease. Besides, we will keep a picture file of every component for our customers future repairing reference. And before the assembly of the mould parts, we will have all of them CMM tested to ensure their best quality. These procedures are money- and time-consuming and involved a higher production cost. Nevertheless, they help guarantee the best quality of our moulds. Money or quality, it will be the choice of out custo
