They are the analysis of teaching material, the analysis of the students, the teaching aims, the teaching methods, the teaching procedure and the teaching reflection.Now Ill come to the first part. Part I The analysis of teaching material2a-2e, Section B is the 4th period in Unit

3、 5. And the title of this unit is “Do you want to watch a game show?” The topic is about entertainment. Yes, its a popular topic for students, and it has interested them already.Aheadofthe 3 periods,thestudentslearnthowtotalk about preferences and how to make plans. They were attracted by all the th

4、ings from all kinds of TV shows in Section A to the topic of movies in Section B.What I taught here is a reading part. Its mainly to train the reading abilities and skills. In this period, the leading character-Mickey Mouse appeared, and it is loved deeply by many people because they know it, like i

5、t and they are interested in it. The reading content is about how Mickey was created, became famous and why people loved him so much. After reading, students should know cartoon stands an important position of American culture. The most important is they should not only try to get the information fr

6、om reading, but also learn to read effectively, at the same time they should care for the culture of our country and love our motherland.Part II The analysis of the studentsThe students of Grade 8 have learned English for 5 years. Most students have some basic knowledge and skills of English learnin

7、g, but reading skill is kind of limited, it doesnt matter for this. For the students in Yingjie School are active and well trained,Im sure they have mastered what they should learn in my class.Part Teaching aims1. The knowledge aimsThe knowledge goal in this class is obvious. Students should underst

8、and the meaning of the text, and master the new vocabulary and phrases: such as culture, famous, appear, think of, come out, one of the main reasons, be ready to, try ones bestetc.2. The ability and learning strategy aimsTeach students to get some information from the text and finish some reading ta

9、sks by skimming, scanning and careful reading. Make use of the knowledge and experience that they have learned so far and read in an effective way. Pay attention to the time clue in the text.3. The emotion aimsTeach students to learn from Walt Disney to be creative, and learn from Mickey Mouse to tr

10、y their best to face any danger bravely in life. And also try to make students feel reading is interesting and necessary, love and enjoy reading! Reading makes a full man! 4. Cultural awareness aimsAs language is the carrier of culture, unless they understand the culture of target language, they cou

11、ldnt use the language. In this period, the more students know about American culture, the better theyll know why cartoon is a symbol of American culture. And they are eager to know the culture of our own country. I tried my best to encourage them to pay attention to it. 5. The important and difficul

12、t pointsAccording to the teaching aims, I think the important points include two partsThe first is to understand the content they read, know the main idea of the article , the second is to make them learn to read in an effective way. The difficult point is to train them to grasp the reading strategi

13、es and read effectively. Part The teaching methodsAs we all know good teaching methods are the keys to success. In this lesson, I used 3 teaching methods. One is Interactive teaching method. The 2nd is Task-based language teaching method and the 3rd is Cooperative learning teaching method.1.Interact

14、ive teaching methodAt the beginning of my class Interactive teaching method is used. I led them to take in information, look for connections, interpret and make sense of it, I do believe its helpful to make them think by themselves, and I hope to activate their creative thinking in their minds by do

15、ing so. 2.Task-based Language TeachingIn this class, I gave them some tasks in each step. The students learnt and used English by reading, thinking, discussion and cooperation.3.Cooperative learning teaching methodCooperative learning can raise the students interest and create an atmosphere of achie

16、vement. In small teams, each with students of different ability levels, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding. Each member of a team is responsible, not only for learning what is taught, but also for helping his or her teammates learn, I think it is a successful teaching strategy.Part V The teaching procedureBased on what I said above, I divided m
