Neither my parents nor I think I can make a good accountant. 我的父母和我都认为我不可能成为一个好会计。 neither作代词时,可作主语或定语。 注意:neither作主语时,谓语动词多用单数形式。 e.g. Neither of u

14、s wants to go to the party. 我们全不想参加聚会。 Neither book is interesting.这些书都无趣。neither还可用作副词,意为“也不”。e.g. I didnt go to the movies. Me neither. 我没去看电影。 我也没去。neither还可作连词,构成“neither . nor .”结构,意为“既不也不”。当连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词要与nor 后面的名词或代词在人称和数上保持一致。(就近原则)e.g. Neither he nor I am right. 我和他都错了。 Neither the twins n

Its terrible for me to work without speaking all day long. 对我来说整天工作不说话真是太糟糕了。 without 为介词,后面的动词要用ing形式。 Its + adj. + for sb. to do sth. 对某人来说做某事怎么样e.g. Its impossible for us to finish the report in such short time. 对我们来说在如此短的时间完成报告是不可能的。Step 8 Exercises翻译下列短语和句
