2、教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.师生互致问候。2.师生自由对话,如:How are you?Hows the weather today?What do you do on Mothers Day?Do you love your mother?3.揭示课题。(1)教师说:“I also like my mother. My mother is a housewife.Im a teacher. There are so many occupations in our life. Today we are going to talk about occupations.”(2)教

3、师出示单词卡片occupation,教学单词occupation,揭示并板书课题:Unit 5 Occupation Part A。Step 2 Review复习有关家庭成员的单词及句型:He/She is my .1.教师出示自己的父母的相片,说:“This is my family. This is my father. He is a worker.This is my mother. She is a housewife.”2.教师逐一出示father,mother,grandpa,grandfather,grandma,grandmother,brother,sister等单词卡片,

4、复习有关家庭成员的单词。3.呈现有关职业的图片,学习表示职业的的单词。4.教师请学生回答What does your father do? What does your mother do ?Step 3 Presentation(一)教学单词farmer,cook,worker和句型What does he/she do? He/She is .1.教师呈现关于职业的图片问全班学生: What does he do?”板书句子:What does he do?2.采用同样的方法板书句子:What does she do?3.根据学生的答案,教师在问句下方分别板书句子Hes a farmer.

5、和Shes a cook.并开展教学活动。(1)教学单词farmer。可利用单词farm来教学,先区别这两个单词的音、形和义,然后操练下列句子:He is a farmer.My grandpa is a farmer.This is a farm.I work on the farm.Sallys grandpa has a farm.(2)教学单词cook。教师边做动作边说:“Im a cook.I can cook.”告诉学生cook有两个含义,一是作动词,意思是“烹饪”,另一个是作名词,意思是“厨师”。请全班操练下列句子:He/She is a cook.We/You are cook

6、s.I can cook delicious food.She cooks for farm workers.(3)通过上述最后一句句子,引出单词worker的教学。利用单词work来教学worker。5.巩固所学过的有关职业的单词。(1)教师出示单词卡片farmer,cook,worker,teacher,doctor,请学生读一读,说一说。(2)教师将这些职业的图片贴在黑板上,请五位学生上台,写出相应的英文单词。(二)初步感知课文内容1.教师出示课本第一幅图,对全班学生说:“Sally and Yang Ming are looking at this picture. Lets read

Think about these three questions.”教师在黑板上板书所提出的三个问题:2.教师播放课文录音或多媒体教学光盘,让学生整体感知课文内容,然后找出答案。3.请学生回答问题,教师总结答案:Question: What does Sallys grandpa do?Question: What does Sallys grandma ?Question: Do they have a farm in the UK?(三)熟读课文,教学单词grow1.请学生翻开课本第36页,默读课文对话一遍,在自己不明白或不会读的单词或句子下面画线,可请教同学或老师

8、。2.请两位学生分角色读一读第三段对话,然后教学单词grow和句子They grow corn,too.3.教师播放课文录音或多媒体教学光盘二至三遍,学生模仿跟读。4.请学生分角色朗读对话内容。5.教师出示下列练习,请学生根据课文内容完成句子。Sallys grandpa is a .Sallys grandma is a .Sallys grandma cooks for .They have a farm in .They have many .They grow ,too.(四)巩固练习1.完成课本第40页的Learn to write.部分。(1)学生独立完成练习,教师巡视,帮助有困难

9、的学生。(2)请学生四人一小组,互相检查练习完成情况。2.情感教育。教师对学生说:“There are three hundred and sixty trades,and every trade has its master. We should enjoy our lives. We should respect other peoples work.”(三百六十行,行行出状元。我们要热爱生活,尊重他人的劳动。)帮助学生理解这段话的含义,并说一说。Step 4 Extension综合活动:Do a survey.完成课本第40页的Do a survey.部分。1.将学生分为4人一小组,每位学生运用What does yourdo?的句型对组员进行采访,并完成调查表。 Namefathermothergrandpagrandmauncleaunt2.请个别学生上台汇报。Step 5 Homework1.听课文录音,模仿并熟读课文。2.完成金榜行动中本课的练习。
