1、高考英语中的让步状语从句状语从句是每年高考单项填空部分必考的题目之一，而让步状语从句又是其考查的重点之一。高考中涉及到的让步状语从句有以下几种类型：一、 whatever， whoever， wherever， whenever， however等引导的让步状语从句。这类词引导的让步状语从句可以和no matter what/who/where/when/how等引导的让步状语从句换用，意为“无论，都”。解这一类题目时，要注意连词在让步状语从句中所作的句子成分，另外，还要注意从句的语序。例如：【考例】The lawyer seldom wears anything other than a s
2、uit _the season.（2008全国卷I）A. whateverB. whereverC. wheneverD. however【解析】A。whatever 引导让步状语从句，其后省略了it is。题意是“无论什么季节，律师除了穿套装外，很少穿其他衣服”。 _ well prepared you are, you still need a lot of luck in mountain climbing.
