1、新目标英语九年级第一单元Unit1 How do you study for a test ?Section A.1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,2c.(Forty-five minutes)一、 Teaching aims and demands : 1能运用以下句型进行口头交流:How do you study for a test?I Study by working with a group.2掌握语言结构:verb +by/with gerund.3掌握提出建议的句型:What about?4. 掌握句型:-have you ever studied with a group? -Ye

I have leaned a lot that way.5围绕所掌握的句型结构进行听力练习,提高听力技能。二、Teaching focal and difficult points:1.掌握语言结构:verb +by/with gerund.2.联系实际谈论自己复习备考的方法,运用Verb +by/with gerund 结构,看能说出多少种方法。 三、Emotional target: 通过对学习方法的学习,引导学生用正确的方法学习英语,培养他们学习英语的积极性。四、Teaching methods1任务型教学法,录音机、挂图、小黑板辅助教学等2采用听说相结合的训练方

3、式。五、Procedure:Step1 Warm up1. Ask: Did you have a good time during the summer holiday? Where did you go? What did you do?2. Ask several students to describe their summer holidays.Step2 Presentation:1. Greeting:T: What day is it today? Help the students answer: Its Monday, its the first day of the ne

4、w term.T: What are your new terms resolutions? Help the students answer: I am going to get good grades.T: Last team Li Ming and Liao Yu get good grades. Ask students to check the ways they usually study for an English test. A

8、ir ways of study.Ask a few pairs of students to present their conversations to the class.Step4 Listening1b Let the students look at the picture in the book, say the ways of study in the picture : by making flashcards ,by listening to cassettes, by asking the teacher for help. Play the tape ,ask the

9、students to write letters from the pictures above.(play two times)2a and 2b Show a big picture of an English club on the blackboard, say ,What do you think is happening? Who are they? Greeting them to answer: They are members of an English club .They are talking about the ways to learn English. Let

10、the students read the questions loudly in 2a. Then play the tape ,ask the students check () the questions they hear. After check the answers, the teacher explain What about? Read the instructions and point to the list of questions in activity 2b.Then play the tape again and check answer.Step5 Consol

14、ion:怎样学好英语,很多学生都这样想过。本单元How do you study for a test?就是在探讨学习英语的方法,所以上好这一单元,对学生以后学习英语有很大的帮助,而上好本单元第一节课至关重要。因为是新学期的第一天,所以开始上课的时候,我通过问他们暑假的情况来调动他们的情绪,从而激发他们新学期学习英语的热情。在引入时,通过叫英语成绩好的同学来说他是怎样学习英语的,很自然的引出新课How do you study for a test? 学生容易接受。我把1c 调到1b前上,就是想在学了1a的基础上,让学生在口头上训练复习备考的方法,从而进一步掌握verb + by/with gerund 这一语言结构,而把1b 放在后面上,是让学生掌握了说的基础上,把所听到的信息用口头表达出来;再者,1b 和后面2a,2b连在一起上,听力训练比较集中,连贯性较强,学生比较容易接受。2c是进一步巩固2a和2b的,在听了听力以后,让学生用2a,2b里的信息来编写对话,这样,学生就能够有一个思考的过程,学以致用。总的来说,本堂课能提高学生的积极性,学习气氛活跃,效果良好。
