In this unit, we are going to talk about how long we’ve been doing things.(板书Aims:Talk about how long we have been doing things. (Underline “have been doing”) This is a new tense------the Present Perfect Progressive Tense.(板书 the Present Perfect Progressive Tense) First, the form, look, Write down with red chalk: have/has +been+doing (开门见山推出本单元目标和学习要点,为的是引起学生的重视。
紧接着介绍现在完成进行时态构成和用法,因为刚上课学生注意力集中,把重点知识放在学生状态良好时呈现)II、Presentation T:How do we use “the Present Perfect Progressive Tense”? Let’s talk about 2 questions. First, How long have I been teaching English(板书)Look,(一边画time line,一边说句子)I started teaching English in 1989.(板书) Now I’m still teaching EnglishHow long have I been teaching English(板书), do you know ? I have been teaching English for 24 years.(板书)( 此时用一个 time line来表示,既直观又易于学生理解,同时还便于以下的进一步教学T:: Another way of saying “I have been teaching English for 24 years.” is I have been studying English since 1989.(板书)The second question, “How long have you been learning English?” (板书)T: When did you start to learn English? How long have you been learning English? Could you tell me ? S1: I started to learn English two years ago. So I have been learning English for two years.S2: I started to learn English when I was 9 years old. Now I’m 14 .So I have been learning English for 5 years.T: S1 has been Learning English since two years ago. (板书) S2 has been Learning English since she was 9 years old. (板书) I have been teaching English since.(Underline “since 1989, since two years ago, since she was 9 years old.) T: Look carefully. This time we use since, not for. Why? Think about it. Ask: Who can tell me the differences between “since” and “for”?S3: for是个时间段, since是个时间点。
T: Right. 但不是很准确 since之后接时间点,for之后接时间段T: Now can you translate these sentences ?Translate the following sentences into English. (1) 他已经学习了3个多小时了 (2) 她已经睡了10小时了吗?Then check the answers and correct their mistakes.(通过这两个句子的翻译,会及时发现学生对现在完成进行时态掌握的情况,并及时得到纠正)III 、Textbook1、 点题板书 At this time,write the title of Unit 6 on the blackboard.Unit 6 How long have you been collecting shells? (在学生理解了现在完成进行时的意义和构成之后,再适时的板书课题,会使学生感觉自然的知识呈现,同时体验到知识的产生和变化过程,增强学生的学习兴趣和求知欲望然后读课后生词,进入课本活动 )2、 New words of Page 44, 45, 46. Turn to Page107 . Teach new words. Explain: collect(v.) ______collection(n.) raise Tell the students the differences between them. rise Then give some examples. Read the new words after me.3、Say: Now let’s look at Page 44, language goal first. Read it. Then ask some questions.T: S4, Language goal 中的复合句含有什么从句?S4: 宾语从句。
T: 宾语从句的语序是什么语序?S4: 陈述句的语序T: Quite good!4、T: Now let’s come to Part 1a------groupwork. Here are three conversations. How long did you sleep last night?When did you start class today?How long have you been in class today (Read and explain them.) You are going to talk about some things you did in the last 24 hours, understand?Please underline “have been in” in question 3. 另外用学生已知的简单的问题让学生思考,使学生学生们会感到轻松,自如,快乐,有效,不知不觉进入状态 )6、T: Please look at the picture in this part. Who can you see and what are they doing? S9, Please answer. S9: Some people are skating and some are having a rest. T: Good! S11, what is the woman in the middle? S10: She is a reporter.T: Very good!(通过提问学生1a中的问题以及老师随即想到的和图片及所学知识有关的问题,引导学生进入课本中提供的情景为下一步听力活动 提供背景支持) 反思-----可以让学生自己选出代表来回答问题,而不是教师点名提问这样会更好的提高学生学习的主动性7、 1b. Ask the students to look at the picture and tell what is happening.Tell them the students in the picture are at a skating marathon. Explain the chart for them. Then say: You will write sentences about the other people . Play the recording.Check the answers and read the sentences.Tell them we can use the Past Tense or the Present Perfect Tense.。
