1、英语教学设计课题M9 Population Unit 1 The population of China is about 1.37 billion.一学情分析本单元的重点是大数字表达方式，即对于万以上的数字应该如何表达的问题，学生对数字并不陌生，所以学习起来不是很难。 二 教 材 分 析本课内容是九模块第一单元的听说课，根据大纲要求，本单元要用1到2个课时。本模块以人口为主要话题，涉及环境污染、城市发展等内容。这些内容与人们的生活息息相关，在现实生活中多有体现。通过本课的学习，学生能掌握英文大数字的读法，能理解人口的图表所提供的信息，并了解世界人口现状，了解人口过剩、噪音、污染等问题以及如何
2、解决这些问题，从而增强其保护环境的意识。本课内容是以人口问题为话题，通过听说读写等一系列活动，让学生感知大数字的表述，学生能辨认和表达大数字是本节课的重点，教师要提供充足的实际应用语言的机会，使学生自主的实现“学中用，用中学”，培养了其合作学习和自主学习的能力。三教学策略本节课的课型以听说为主，所以采用听说读写相结合的启发式任务教学方法，做到因材施教，注重激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生的语言听说技能，让学生自主探究,合作交流，使学生在愉快的氛围中达到学习目标。1 在教学活动中采用比赛等方式，激发学生的学习兴趣。2 在解决问题时，以小组合作的形式，引导学生自主合作探究学习，培养学生小组合作的精神，

11、 the given information in the table 这个环节是对本课重点的概括。学生在前面了解了人口的增长及其所引发的问题。通过以上语言的输入，最后是语言输出的活动。学生不仅练习了重点句型，大数字的表达方式，同时还需要想出解决问题的办法，增强了学生的社会责任感。8.
