Possible HazardNatural rubber latex has been used commercially for about 50 years, with no indication of any health hazard from the raw material provided that normal handling precautions are taken. However it may cause skin irri
6、tation and sensitization on prolonged exposure Eye irritation and irritation of upper respiratory tract if ammonia is excessively inhaled4. First AidUnnecessary or prolonged contact of latex with the skin should be avoided; use of gloves and overalls are advisable for those handling latex regularly.

Fire fighting Action / MeasuresNatural rubber latex, being water dispersion, cannot be ignited. Therefore latex is not
