Im very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas. My name is wang Li. I come from No.3 Senior School of Baoquanling, Hei

2、longjiang province. My topic is Module 2 No Drugs in Senior English for China Book 2 . It is made up of five parts: Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods, the teaching procedure,and Blackboard design.Part I .My understanding of this lesson .First, let me talk

3、about the teaching material. This lesson plan is designed for Senior 1 students. This module is about smoking anddrugs. This lesson is a reading passage. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this module, because we should lay particular emphasis on the students reading ability i

4、n senior English teaching. Of course, we should let the Ss receive some moral education. The information in this module can help the students form a good living habit. The students will learn some new words and useful expressions involving smoking and drugs. The reading passage consists of two artic

5、les. Article 1 tells us the story of Adam Rouse, who told us how he got addicted to taking drugs and how he stopped. From article 2 , well know what cocaine is and how it does harm to people . Six activities are designed in this part. Most importantly , after learning the text, the students may show

6、 their care to others and our society. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of childrens growing of mind,I think the teaching aims are the followings: Teaching aims: Knowledge aim1. New words: addictive, c

7、annabis, cocaine, danger, addict, inject, needle, powerful, reduce, nearby, 2.Useful expressions: used to be, sharewith, be addicted to, allow sb to do sth, be in pain, break into, take sb. to, as a result, take sbs advice, 3. Grammar: The infinitive of purpose; adverbial clause of resultSkill aim1.

8、 Understanding the main ideas of the passage by means of recording the topic sentences.2. Learning how to talk and write about the dangers of drugs.Emotional aim1. Developing firm no-drug attitudes.2. Learning to care for others, especially the weak persons in society.3. Doing something to persuade

Some difficult sentences in the passage.Part 2 My teaching theories, methods and aids Dealing with this lesson, Ill do my best to carry out the following
