During the Eastern Han Dynasty, paper was invented by a Chinese, 蔡 伦 . Paper cutting has different meanings depending on the different pictures, but its
5、major meaning is to bring good luck to New Year.A：General house-cleaning is the first step we prepared for the New Year. Then we go shopping; do a little decoration to our houses with Spring Festival Scrolls, Lanterns and so on.B: We set off firecrackers or fireworks to get rid of evils of the old y

7、 and have a big meal together. Dumplings are traditional food, especially for the northern China. The shape of the dumpling resembles gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for prosperity and treasure.B: After dinner, the whole family will sit together, chatting and watching a ve
8、ry popular Chinese celebration program on TV. During the festival, we visit our relatives and friends. Children are given red pockets with money inside from their parents, grandparents or other elders. Also, people prefer to wear red. The color means fire which keeps away from bad luck.A: For women,
9、 they re eager to wear 旗袍, Qipao is one of the most typical, traditional costume for Chinese women. It is like a wonderful flower in the Chinese colorful fashion because of its particular charm.
