1、Extreme Weather The kinds of weather is various. It can be classified into two types :ordinary and extreme weather. The extreme weather includes“Three Storm”(rainstorm, blizzard, sandstorm ),“Two Wave”（heat wave, cold wave）,drought, foggy, acid rain and plum rain. Some occur in a certain time of one
2、 year. These weather could bring us effects and even destroy our life in a degree. The formation of extreme weather is connected with not only the very of nature but also the behavior of people. I will introduce four extreme weather from some aspects. Sandstorm, a highly strong disaster, often happe
3、ns in winter. Only the place which is drought and less plant appears this weather ,not all windy places. In the northwest of our country, the coverage of forest is narrow. With the population increasing ,extensive deforestation contributes to soil erosion and desertification which are the main reaso
4、ns of sandstorm. when it comes to ,it may destroy public facilities,bury the floods and even threaten the safety of our life, especially transportation . Heat wave ,a terrible weather,occurs more and more recently. In the background of the global warming,once warm air controls for long time and sun
5、radiates severely, heat wave could form. It is reported that more than 42 people die of heat in America.heat wave has seriously affected our life.This weather makes people bothered. In recent years,heat island effectgets more and more obvious. Global climate heating up year by year requires our more
6、 attention. Foggy, a strange but dangerous weather, may directly damage the health of people. When the number of water vapor in the air is too much and the temperature in land is very low, fog could form. Foggy also destroy crops .foggy lead to crops receiving less sunshine,and then make crops grow
7、slowly. in addition ,the transportation is always in a block and many traffic accidents happen in foggy. Plum rain , occurs in may of a year. It will form ,when the warm and humid air from Indian ocean and cold air from the north of our country converge in valley of chang jiang. The rain always last
8、s for long time and leads to air be in a very damp. People often travel inconveniences and food mildew easily in this weather. It get people be in a bad mood. We cant control extreme weather,but we can forecast them. so we must make a good use of weather forecast and prepare protective measures in ahead of time . at the same time ,we should realize extreme weather is not only caused by atmosphere and nature,but also by people. To maintain the ecological balance,we should try to avoid the destruction of nature and be in a harmony with the nature.
