1、新目标英语八年级上Unit 10 Im going to be a basketball player教学设计设计理念 1. 遵循任务型教学模式,创设语言交际环境,通过课堂教学,让学生用英语完成各项任务,培养学生运用英语的能力和提高听力水平。 2. 倡导积极、互动、探究合作式的学习方式。教材分析 1.本单元以“Im going to be a basketball player”为中心话题,学生根据图片领会所要谈论的职业话题,启发学生的思维。2.掌握谈论此类话题的基本句式、词汇。3.使学生了解关于一些职业的名称如何用英文表达。4.使学生树立远大的理想和学习名人努力拼搏的品质学情分析通过本单元的

2、学习,让学生对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣,乐于参与、合作和交流。在老师的正确引导下,养成良好的学习习惯,提高英语语言运用水平和听力水平。预习任务 1. 收集你喜爱的明星、名人信息,并说出你喜欢他(她)的理由。 2. 归纳总结关于职业名称的一些单词。 3. 说出你理想的职业并能表达如何实现这一理想。Teaching Objectives 1. Knowledge objectives (1) Students will be able to learn the following words :player, musician, engineer, singer, pianist, violinist

Ability objectives Students will be able to use the patterns: “What are you going to be when you grow up? / Im going to be ”

Emotional objectives After learning the lesson, students will know how to achieve their dreams and cultivate good behavior. 4. Learning strategies Help students to learn new words about jobs and expand their words. Help stu

8、 English very hard.”“I want to be a writer, and Im going to read a lot of books.”“I want to be a musician, and Im going to listen to music and play the piano.”“I want to be a basketball player, and Im going to play basketball on weekends. .”设计思路:让学生谈论自己的理想职业并且表达如何实现这一理想,让学生树立远大的理想和学习名人努力拼搏的品质,并且能够学会

9、运用新的句型结构,为下一步的听力做铺垫。Step 3 Listening 1.Get a student to Listen to the tape and match the items on the blackboard.2.Check the answers.设计思路:1.先引导学生通过听关键词来完成搭配练习。2.让一个学生到黑板前根据听到的录音材料内容连线,锻炼和检查学生根据所听内容完成任务的能力。Step 4 Pair workAsk students to work in pairs. Then, get some pairs to act their conversations

10、out. 设计思路:在生活中运用语言进行交际。激发学生们学习英语的好奇心、表现欲以培养语言学习的信心。暴露容易出错的问题和错误,以培养学生细心做事的习惯,从而使他们的思维更加缜密。Step 5 . Listening and checkingFirst, let students listen and finish the listening task. Second, ask a student to make a report to check their answers. Finally, listen again and repeat the tapescript.设计思路:做听力训练

Im going to 教学反思针对上述教学设计和具体的教学活动,我有以下几点思考:(1)明星演员、运动员等是学生崇拜的人物,引入他们来导入新课会使学生对学习充满兴趣并感受英语学习的乐趣,从而有利于创造良好的课堂氛围。(2)让学生在完成听力训练的过程中到黑板上演示,既提醒了其他同学要专心听课,也使去完成任务的同学增强了征服挑战的欲望。(3) 给学生自由练习的空间,让他们在使用语言中巩固知识,感受用英语交流的成就感,从而培养了学生的运用语言、进行合作学习的精神。(4)听力练习之前让学生练习本节课的重点句型结构,有利于学生对听力内容的理解,也有利于巩固语言点。这样做使学生学得轻松,也使他们喜欢学习英语。
