7、ne. 7. appreciate欣赏，赞赏Thats because you cant appreciate music. His talents are not fully appreciated in that company. 感谢，感激其后可接名(代)词、动名词、名词性从句等作宾语，但不能接不定式。如：eg: I appreciate your goodness. We shall appreciate hearing from you again. I appreciate that you have come here so early.注：appreciate后只能接sth作宾
8、语，不能接sb作宾语 (与thank 正好相反，thank +sb.) 正：I appreciate your kindness. 谢谢你的好意。 误：I appreciate you for your kindness. 正：He thanked her for her kindness. 他感谢她的好意。 误：He thanked her kindness. 后接if或when从句的问题 其后不直接跟if或when引导的从句，若语义上需要接这类从句，需借助it。如： I would appreciate it very much if you would help me with it.

His failure results from his carelessness. 9. sothat 和 suchthat的辨析两者都是“太/如此以至于”之意，但是so 修饰形容词或副词；而such修饰名词。 so +adj/advadj+ a/an +单数可数名词many/few+复数名词much/little(少)+ 不可数名词+thatsuch +a/an + adj. +单数可数名词+ adj. +复数名词+ adj. +不可数名词+that
11、注： such+ a/an + adj. +单数可数名词= so+adj.+ a/an +单数可数名词 She is such a good girl that people here like her very much. =She is so good a girl that people here like her very much. sothat句式中，so 也可以修饰不可数名词或名词复数，但该名词前必须有many, much, few, little等表示数量多少的词来修饰。例如： He had so many falls that he was black and blue al
12、l over. He had so little education that he was unfit for this job. There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters could not get close to the building. 当little 表示“小”时，其前用such 修饰，表示“少”时其前用so 修饰。 John has so little money that he cant buy the book. They were such little boys
13、 that they couldnt go to school. sothat；suchthat 句型中，若so/such提至句首，则要部分倒装,谓语的一部分要提到主语之前，例如： He drove so carelessly that he almost killed himself. =So carelessly did he drive that he almost killed himself. He is a good teacher that we all like him. =Such a good teacher is he that we all like him.10so
14、that 引导结果状语从句，译为“如此以至于”eg: He did his homework carelessly so that there were several spelling mistakes.引导目的状语从句，译为“为了；以便于”，此时that从句谓语部分常含有could, can, may, might, will, would等情态动词。若主从句主语一致，从句可简化为so as to结构。eg: He got up very early so that he could catch up the early bus. =He got up very early so as t
15、o catch up the early bus. 11. 动词admit的用法1.表示“承认”admit sth.admit doing sth 2. 表示“允许进入”、“使能进入”eg:This ticket admits one person only. 此券只准一人入场。There were no windows to admit air. 没有窗子可使空气流入。可用于引申义，表示允许进入某一组织、机构、学校、团体等：admit sb. to/into+组织、机构、学校、团体等(接纳某人进入，吸收某人参加，允许某人进入，录用某人)sb. be admitted into+ 组织、机构、学校、团体等(某人被接纳，被允许进入，被录用)eg: They admitted him to/into their organization. 他们接受他参加了他们的组织。Tom was admitt
